Dowell Category 5e/6 Shielded Patch Panels comply with the requirements of the Category 5e/6 specification. Each panel is designed to be quick and easy to install and maintain, with 24 Ports per 1U of rack space. A built in rear management tray, fulfils a number of functions: firstly, it relieves any stress that may be applied to the cable during and after installation; to allow trouble free termination the IDC blocks are positioned on the tray, at a 90 degree angle to the RJ45 sockets; finally at the rear of each tray, an adjustable clamping plate provides a quick and effective grounding position for the cables entering the panel. A screw on top plate, is supplied to complete the installation.
